WE GOT
HERE.
My family is Italian, and food has always been at the center of everything. But when we came to Sicily for a sabbatical, something shifted. The flavors were deeper, the producers more passionate, the connection between land and table more alive than anywhere we had been.
We started exploring markets, small farms, family operations tucked into hilltowns and coastal villages. What we found was extraordinary: ingredients with real provenance, made by people who have been doing this for generations, and largely unknown outside of Sicily.
Cafiero Imports exists to change that. We source carefully and directly, choosing only the things we would put on our own table.
